"Derby Academy and my mother absolutely shaped who I am." - Lesley Visser

Derby Academy Alum and well-known national sports broadcaster Lesley Visser was recently interviewed by the Hingham Anchor. In her comments, she spoke highly of her experience at Derby Academy, where she was also taught by her mother Mary Visser who worked for the school in the 1960s. 

"Derby Academy and my mother absolutely shaped who I am," Lesley said. "At Derby we learned how to write thank-you notes and how to shake someone's hand and look them in the eye. It was a fantastic education."
