Discover "America's Hometown"

Founded in 1620, the South Shore town of Plymouth is known as “America’s Hometown.” Plymouth features many historical sites, including Plimoth Plantation, Plymouth Rock, as well as a bustling town center with shops, beaches, and restaurants.

Students learn and live the history of the area by visiting local museums, and the historic sites of our nation's founding and the Revolutionary War.

Built in 1818 and now home to the Hingham Historical Society, "Old Derby" was the original building for Derby Academy, founded in 1784 as one of the earliest co-educational schools in the country and the oldest co-educational independent day school in New England.
