Financial Aid

Derby Academy wishes to make its programs available to qualified applicants regardless of a family's financial circumstances. Grants are awarded on the basis of need as determined by the School and Student Service for Financial Aid in Princeton, NJ, and by Derby's Financial Aid Committee.

For the 2016-17 school year, Derby's financial aid budget will exceed $1,000,000.
Please note: not all families who qualify for financial aid will be awarded grants.

Derby Academy is committed to making its programs available to as many students as it can each year regardless of a family’s ability to pay the full cost of tuition. In order to allocate our financial aid resources in the fairest manner possible, Derby subscribes to the School and Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS), which serves many independent schools throughout the country.

You may apply for financial aid at Derby Academy on-line at Enter the Website for Parents and Families page, which will allow you to complete the Parents Financial Statement (PFS) on-line. Please file the PFS by January 31, 2018 so our Financial Aid Committee will have plenty of time to make its decision.
