Music and the Brain: Why every student plays an instrument at Derby
Discover why all Derby students learn to play an instrument beginning in fourth grade There is a twofold purpose for this: they experience the “joy” of a hand-ons musical experience, and we believe in the supporting research that this enhances learning and mastery of other subjects such as math, language, and science.
