Grade 8 Legacy Gift
We are thrilled to announce this year’s Grade 8 fundraising initiative will be a new Covered Pavilion.
Master planning efforts at all schools have fundamentally changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, adding permanent outdoor learning spaces must be considered in any future planning. This project is the perfect symbol for this year’s Class of 2021.
Located between the Language Arts Building and The Sadler Conference Room (Roy Campus Center), this 40 ft. by 30 ft. permanent structure will go beyond being just an outdoor classroom space—providing gathering opportunities for meetings, celebratory events, informal gatherings, and friendly reunions. Additionally, this new space may also serve as a Grade 8 privilege gathering area.
We are asking all Grade 8 parents to join in and help leave a lasting legacy at Derby.
