Intramural and Clubs
Our Grade 4 & 5 intramural sports program teaches basic rules, positions, skills, and strategies to prepare Middle School students for our Grade 6-8 interscholastic athletics program.
We also aim to provide students with a better appreciation for each sport.
- Fall: field hockey, soccer, flag football, fitness assessment
- Winter: basketball, floor hockey, volleyball, cooperative games
- Spring: baseball, softball, lacrosse, fitness assessment
Our rowing, golf, rugby, sailing, and tennis clubs allow students to grow individually while learning the importance of teamwork as they explore their interests through these unique opportunities.
Students participating in our rowing program practice on rowing machines in our gym, and launch from the Hingham Maritime Center, just minutes away from campus. Water safety, proper rowing technique, and the importance of teamwork are covered as students board our professional rowing shell and glide across Hingham Bay. Our after-school tennis and golf programs are held at South Shore Country Club, as students are introduced to proper form and technique.
Our rugby program has grown significantly over the years, growing its roster and often hosting teams from around New England, and even international teams from England and Ireland. The teams’ annual alumni games reunite classmates on the pitch for a fun afternoon.
