Grade 7 Parents - Evening with Secondary School Admission Directors

    Healey Innovation Center
We hope you will join us for what promises to be an informative panel discussion with admission officers representing the types of independent secondary schools available to your family.  Scheduled to attend are representatives from Dexter Southfield, Notre Dame Academy, Milton Academy, Proctor Academy, and Thayer Academy.

This event is designed for grade 7 parents to have an opportunity to learn more about day, single-sex, parochial, and boarding schools, as well as hear how schools review a candidate’s file.   A question and answer session will follow presentations. We would like to keep this event to parents as some of the questions you may have could cause undue stress to some of our Upper School students.

While an RSVP is not required, we would appreciate it if you would let us know if you cannot attend.

Sarah Derby’s legacy is remarkable and something for which all Derby alumni and families should be proud. As a cornerstone of her vision, financial assistance helped create one of the first coeducational schools in the country and has impacted countless generations of families. Derby’s commitment to providing financial aid to qualified students and families remains a priority today.

On the evening of Friday, May 17, the School will host the first of a series of events  to raise awareness and funding for financial assistance at Derby. We’re collecting testimonials to celebrate Sarah Derby’s legacy, as well as raising funds for deserving students and families. If you received financial aid support from Derby, we would like to hear about your Derby experience and what this financial assistance has meant for you and your family. If you are a donor who has provided financial assistance, share with us the motivation behind your support or the impact you've seen as a result of your gift.
If you would like to learn more, or attend and support the event, please contact Jami Gregory directly at jgregory@derbyacademy.org  or at 781-749-0746 ext. 161.
