Summer Arts at Derby is a comprehensive arts program that allows children to explore the full range of performing and visual arts. Each child selects his or her own schedule from over one hundred courses in visual art, dance, drama, media, music, photography, writing, gymnastics, and sports. All courses are taught by professional artists and offer children the opportunity to discover their individual talents and develop skills in the arts. The atmosphere of classes creates a spirit of cooperation. On the last day of the five-week session, the public is invited to the Arts Festival, an occasion that showcases the children's artwork and performances.

Dates: Five weeks: June 28 - July 30, 2010
Ages: The program is open to boys and girls, ages 6 to 15.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm.
2010 Tuition: Five weeks, $2300.00. (Lunches, T-shirts and yearbooks are included in the tuition). If paid in full by March 13, the tuition is $2200.00. Additional siblings receive a $200 discount. Some financial aid is available; for information, contact the director. The deadline for financial aid applications is April 14, 2010.
Guests: Visitors of the campers may attend the program for $75 a day, for no more than two days.
Summer Arts Jr: is a half-day program designed to introduce 6 and 7 year olds to Summer Arts. The hours are 9 am - 1:15 pm and the fee is $1,600.
