Derby's comprehensive tuition includes books and materials, field trips, athletic fees (except for ice hockey and sports training), daily snacks, and lunches. Additional expenses may include optional private bus transportation (limited to the Route 3A corridor from Duxbury to Hingham), van service to and from Boston, and tutorial fees if required.

Payment Plans
Derby Academy offers several payment plans to assist families in budgeting tuition costs each year:
- One installment due on or before July 1 with a 1% discount
- One installment - credit card - full tuition due on or before July 1 (no discount)
- Two installments due on or before July 1 and January 15
- Nine installments from June 1 to February 1 with a $75 processing fee
