Derby Students Donate 150 Teddy Bears

Derby students recently donated approximately 150 new teddy bears to the pediatric unit of Jordan Hospital in Plymouth.

The project was one of many activities planned by Derby’s World Awareness Group, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Derby teacher Ivy Butterworth, the club’s faculty sponsor, noted that, “The students like to be involved in activities that go beyond just collecting money. It is nice to see our students think of others and show awareness of things that are happening in the world.”
