Oh, What a Night!

 

Whether it was by donating an auction item, contributing to your children's class collaborations, volunteering with us on the committee, donating underwriting dollars and sponsorships, buying an ad or joining us for an evening of fun at the Auction Gala and bidding on your child's class art project, your incredible support has made our results a record-breaker for the Derby 2010 PA Spring Fundraiser!

 

Many of you have been asking - since sensing the success that evening - and we now have the pleasure to announce that the Gala's net income is $125,000! Thank you to the Derby community for supporting our students, faculty and programs!

Parents Association Fundraising Background

Every year, the Parents Association works closely with the administration and the Board of Trustees to determine areas in which additional funding for programs would be beneficial. Money raised by past Parents Association fundraisers has helped Derby sustain important aspects of the program that would not be possible with tuition dollars alone. Derby has been able to fully fund continued professional development for faculty, field trips, cultural events, assemblies, sophisticated student performances, financial aid, technology resources to support the curriculum and a full array of athletic events and community service projects.
