Together, these libraries provide students with valuable resources for reading, research and learning, including:

• Three dedicated library staff members
• More than 16,000 items including books, periodicals, and non-print materials
• Two Polyvision boards for interactive in-library learning
• Laptop and desktop computers, Digital cameras and Flip cams

Mission

To sustain and nourish the curriculum of the school by:

• developing a collection of materials in all formats to support the curriculum for independent study and recreational reading
• planning with teachers to create opportunities for students to become effective users of ideas and information
• providing attractive and friendly facilities that serve as a catalyst for the intellectual life of the school.

Library Program

Classes for younger students promote a love of books and reading. Older students learn to access and evaluate information resources as part of the research process for classroom assignments. Fifth graders complete a one-semester, graded course in the basic sources of independent research.
